As part of our partnership with the International Cricket Council for the ICC World Cup, UNITE FOR CHILDREN UNITE AGAINST AIDS is seeking submissions from young filmmakers up to the age of 20 around the world for one-minute short videos on the theme of 'This is Cricket'. We are happy to present a signed bat from the ICC as a first prize for the contest.
Videos can be humourous or informative, animated or live-action, shot on a mobile phone, with a regular digital camera or in a studio. All submissions will be featured on the cricket section of the UNITE FOR CHILDREN UNITE AGAINST AIDS website. There will be a special prize for the best entry.
Topics can range from a whirlwind overview of the game to a focused clip on some aspect of the cricket world, or to anywhere else your imagination takes you.
The UNITE FOR CHILDREN UNITE AGAINST AIDS campaign invites you to join us as we cover the 2007 Cricket World Cup. The campaign will be launching a special Cricket World Cup site highlighting videos from players around the world, games and information about how we are using the World Cup to spread awareness of – and increase participation in – global efforts to combat HIV/AIDS.

The video has to be exactly one minute (60 seconds) long.
You can submit your film in the following formats: mpeg, wav, mov, avi or rm. The film should come in PAL.
To email us your film or send it through our free ftp server, please contact the OneMinutesJr project coordinator Chris Schuepp.
Or by snail mail…please put your video on a CD-Rom and send it to the address below before 15 April 2007.
Please produce the film in the best possible quality and keep the master file for yourself when you send us a hard copy or a web-sized version through e-mail. And please remember to only use materials (images and sounds) that are either not copyrighted or to which you hold the exclusive copyrights.
